How does renting from Boston Party Pantry work?
Boston Party Pantry is a self-service party rental shop. You reserve your items online, pick them up during your scheduled window, enjoy them all weekend, and return them on Sunday. This model allows us to offer very reasonable rental prices while keeping the process simple and flexible.
Do you rent by the day?
No. All rentals are for full weekends only.
Our standard rental period is:

Pickup: Friday evening or Saturday morning

Return: Sunday evening or Monday morning
This ensures you have plenty of time to enjoy your event without rushing.
Can I rent items for longer than the weekend?
Yes! Extended rentals are available upon request.

What are the pickup and return times?
Exact pickup and return windows will be provided after booking.
Pickup is scheduled for Friday PM or Saturday AM, and returns are Sunday PM or Monday AM.
All items must be returned on time to avoid late fees. Times are flexible and coordinated with each client.
Do you offer delivery and pickup?
Yes, delivery and pickup are available as an optional add-on. Please place them in your cart to purchase. And for transparency, not offering this is how we stay afloat. So pricing is helping us break even.
Delivery includes drop-off to a ground-level, easily accessible location within our delivery radius. Pickup includes retrieval of items at the end of your rental.

Additional fees may apply for extended distances or special access needs
- Please add the delivery and / or pick up service to your basket when purchasing. We offer a 10 mile radius and a 25 mile radius.
What if I don’t want delivery?
No problem! Most customers choose to pick up and return items themselves, which is how we keep prices affordable. Pickup and return instructions will be provided with your reservation.
How are items packaged?
All items, and supplies are packaged in plastic bins, unless they have their own carrying case (Jenga, for example), or are too large to fit in a bin. Each item comes with an instruction page.
Are you insured?
Yes - we are fully insured as an LLC. Should anything happen out side the bounds of the rental agreement, just let us know and we'll work on it!
Do I need to clean the items before returning them?
Yes. All items must be returned clean, dry, and free of tape, residue, or décor attachments. Items returned excessively dirty or wet may be subject to additional cleaning fees.
What happens if an item is damaged?
Normal wear from rental use is expected. However, the renter is responsible for any damage, loss, or missing pieces during the rental period. Repair or replacement fees may apply, up to full replacement cost. This includes the bullets in the Nerf Package. We know some will get lost!
Can items be used outdoors?
Most items may be used outdoors in appropriate weather conditions only.
Items must not be exposed to rain, high winds, moisture, or extreme heat unless explicitly approved. Weather-related damage is the responsibility of the renter.
Can I attach balloons, signs, or décor to rental items?
Yes — but only using non-damaging methods, such as scotch tape, zip ties, twist ties or command strips.
Tape, nails, screws, glue, staples, or adhesives are not permitted unless approved in advance.
Do you provide setup or styling services?
No. Boston Party Pantry is a self-service rental business. We do not provide setup, styling, or installation unless specifically arranged in advance.
What if I need to make changes to my order?
Please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to accommodate changes based on availability and timing. bostonpartypantry@gmail.com
Why are your prices so affordable?
Our self-service model allows us to keep overhead low and pass those savings directly to you. You get quality party essentials without paying for services you may not need.
What's the cancellation policy? Does weather matter?
We know weather can be unpredictable, so we try to be understanding with our cancellation policy.
- 48 hours before rental starts (Friday PM start time unless otherwise agreed upon) - Full refund
- 24 hours before - 50% refund
